  Just a little about me,
Kristi Mulder Westergaard, Certified Personal Trainer
"I met Kristi after having my second child.  I had gained almost 50 lbs!  Kristi developed a program that was tailored to give me the best results and meet my busy schedule.  I'm now in size 2 clothes and have more energy than I've had for a long time.

At 37, I am stronger than I've ever been in my life and am seeing true muscle definition that I never thought I could achieve. My husband can't stop checking me out! I would not be where I'm at today without Kristi's help.   Investing in my health and committing to exercising the right way is the smartest and best thing I've ever done.
Thanks, Kristi!" - Cris Rinsdorf

I would like to think that what sets me apart from other trainers is that I am approachable, open, and honest. I have a genuine concern and empathy for others and a strong work ethic. This is evident in the professions I have chosen.

Ordinarily, I am shy about sharing personal information on a public source such as the internet. However, I am hoping that sharing about me will allow you to know me better.

Picking a trainer is a very personal choice. You need to feel comfortable around your trainer and confident about your choice. You should be inspired and motivated. In addition, you should know your trainer’s knowledge, credentials, and experience. Therefore, here is a bit about me and my experience.

Thanks again for visiting my web site!

My wonderful family!
Time spent with my family is precious and treasured

I have always enjoyed being active. As a young child I was fortunate enough to try many fun sports like snow skiing, water skiing, sailing, skating and much more. In school, I tried my hand at many organized sports. Once I began my college years, I found myself interested in fitness activities, including aerobics, cycling, swimming, strength training and running. I was studying nursing at the time, so my love of health and fitness was born! Nutrition and Anatomy & Physiology were my two favorite classes.

After graduating with my Nursing degree, I married and started a family. I had three children in four years with each pregnancy, I was on bed rest. This challenged me to keep my figure and stay in shape. I continued in Nursing as my profession and fitness continued to develop as my passion and hobby.

At 37, after over 20 years of personal fitness experience, I began to think about becoming a professional personal trainer. I had always loved learning and sharing my knowledge of fitness and nutrition so it seemed very natural. Of course my life at that time couldn't have been more full to be at a point of considering starting an additional career! I was unhappily doing case management for five doctors.

Then my brother Ken was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. His devastating prognosis put everything into perspective. I spent many hours talking with him before he passed away. It was then that I decided to follow my dreams. With my children as my top priority, I wanted to transform my life long passion for fitness into my career. The rest is history!

Since then, I have worked with so many wonderful people. I couldn’t be more blessed! From weight loss to sport performance, I enjoy them all. I have also begun to compete in figure competitions. This has allowed me to reach out to an even greater population!

I hope you are able to find useful information and inspiration on my web pages! And please, ask any questions you would like. Just go to my Contact Kristi page! I would love to help, out or even better… be a part of your health and fitness program!
